About Angelo Architects, PLLC
Angelo Architects, PLLC is a design and planning firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The principal, Russ Angelo, has over 30 years experience in master planning and facility design for commercial and institutional projects. The firm was founded in 1999, after Russ spent over 18 years with other architectural firms in North Carolina and Illinois. The firm has a staff that includes one registered architect, two intern architects (graduates with degrees in architecture) and administrative personnel.
The office is located in 1200 square feet of a multi-tenant building in midtown Charlotte. The office has state of the art computers with Revit Architecture and AutoCAD software, a file server with a dedicated back-up system, and in-house plotting/printing capabilities. The plan below cannot describe the amount of natural light from oversized windows in each space, and a full wall of glass that looks out at downtown Charlotte.

Russ Angelo received his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1980 from the University of Notre Dame. He is licensed to practice in North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey and Illinois. In addition, Russ has certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, which allows him to obtain licensure in several other states.
Russ is a local Board Member of Rebuilding Together, a national non-profit organization based in Washington, DC, that rehabilitates homes in distressed inner city neighborhoods.
Russ has resided in Charlotte since 1982. Those 30 years have been spent developing close relationships with facility owners, municipal officials, and contractors.
