The owner wanted to create space for receptions and conferences for visiting bank members. The main floor of the building, with vacant area as a result of changes to the banking process, provided a unique opportunity for this project. The new conference center includes a ‘pre-function’ room that can accommodate up to 250 people, including a full bar. A new multi-purpose room can be 1 large space for 250 conference attendees, or 3 smaller spaces for up to 75 people each. A full kitchen to serve these functions, new toilet facilities, and support space is included in the project scope. State of the art audio visual systems for the center are designed for press conferences and teleconferences.

Also, the formal board room and gathering space for board members prior to meetings is being relocated to a portion of the conference center, from its current location on the top floor of the building.

The design elements are sensitive to the late 1980’s modern building, incorporating strong geometry through curved walls and bulkheads. The finishes include rich looking wood veneer, light bronze aluminum storefront with etched glass, granite countertops, and patterned ceramic tile.
