The developers are bringing medical offices to a vacant part of the 1970’s retail center, based on the proximity to the main hospital and better access for patients. The proposed pediatric clinics is 10,000 sf, and includes large waiting spaces for well and sick patients, a nurse triage, lab, exam/procedure rooms, toilets, and doctors offices/support spaces. A general practitioner is also a tenant, at 2,400 sf, and will have similar functions. The overall space is designed to accommodate 6 medical tenants, with a central ‘commons’ acting as a lobby, with wood veneer ceiling panels and decorative cove lighting.
